GE UHF-101 Translator

General Electric UHF Converter, circa 1952. This is a large unit in a mahogany finished cabinet, instead of the UHF channels displayed on the dial it shows the UHF frequencies. The unit has two tubes for IF and oscillator and crystal diodes for the mixer, the output channel can be tuned to 5 or 6. The dial pointer has a moving light point reminiscent of the Scott Philharmonic Radio tuning dial.
